Dear Trusted R3 Servants,

During our spring assembly in Webster we will be electing a Vice Chair who will serve until the fall assembly in Albuquerque on Sep. 26. According to our Bylaws Article VII (H):

 “Upon the vacancy of a Steering Committee position, the Chairperson shall appoint an Interim Steering Committee member to serve until the next Region III Assembly, at which time an election shall be held to fill the unexpired portion of the term of the vacated position.”

Our current most excellent VC is Andrea Mac who must step down after the spring assembly. Furthermore our bylaws state that applications must be received by the chair no later than 45 days before the assembly. The relevant date is February 4th, 2015.

If you are willing to run or know someone who might be suitable please have them send an application. The qualifications for the position can be found on our Region 3 web site in the bylaws, Art VII(D)(1-4).

If you think you are not good enough to run/know enough/have enough time—call me!! I suspect you might just be good enough/know enough/have time to do an awesome job.
